Hi there! I'm Vicky. I've always been passionate about languages, grammar, learning processes and I absolutely love interacting with students! I have a bachelorâs degree in Sociology and Iâm a certified TESOL teacher that has been working as an independent tutor since 2020. I know how to structure and conduct 1-on-1 personalized classes with students from all over the world that are looking for a teacher that focuses on their specific needs. I love making my classes dynamic, engaging, fun but also challenging.
IMPORTANT: I ONLY TEACH ADULTS WHO HAVE A B1 (AND UP) KNOWLEDGE. Since my classes are heavily conversational it is imperative that you can hold basic conversations. My lessons & teaching style
I always take the studentâs needs and language level into consideration before planning my lesson. Depending on the type of class youâre aiming for, I tend to plan it in a way where youâll practice all the competences necessary to master fluency. Weâll have:
- Grammar tasks (not the boring type, but through conversations and real-life examples).
- Audio tasks (hear me and other people have conversations, get used to different accents).
- Writing tasks (and little quizzes here and there to improve your spelling).
- Speaking tasks (debates, role plays, discussion of interesting or challenging topics).My teaching material
