For conversation practice, we can talk about anything you like (movies, games, sports, etc).

If you make mistakes or have trouble, I will kindly assist you and help you express what you want to. After the lesson, I will provide notes about points we talked about so you can study them later.
何か間違ったら、手伝って、適切な言葉と表現教えてあげます。レッスンの後、コメントと役に立つな単語と例文書いてあげます。
For reading, I prefer to use real materials over textbooks (newspapers, books, etc). The class time is spent summarizing and discussing the reading.
本と新聞で学べますよ。
If your focus is writing, send me your writing and during our lesson we'll discuss how to improve your skills and better your writing ability.

M.A. TESOL - CSU Northidge - 2016I was required to take a number of courses to prepare me for assisting English learners in reaching their goals, including test preparation in the form of a course titled "LING 568: TESL Testing and Assessment" (https://catalog.csun.edu/academics/ling/courses/ling-568/). It prepared me for designing and administering tests, and also in preparing students for TOEFL and IELTS. Since my M.A. has already been confirmed on italki, I am uploading my transcript as proof that I've taken this course.
