Living in Curitiba, Brazil

Brazilian Portuguese for Travel, Family & Friends šŸ™‹šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø Hi! Iā€™m Kathellen, and Iā€™ve been teaching Portuguese for 15 years. šŸ„µšŸ„¶ I was born and raised in the North of Brazil, in Manaus, and I now live in the South, in Curitiba. Living in different parts of Brazil has given me a deep appreciation for the diversity of Brazilian culture, accents, and expressions. āš½ļøšŸ’ƒšŸ½ Iā€™m passionate about sports and Brazilian culture, and Iā€™m also an amateur triathlete. āœˆļø Traveling and experiencing different cultures has always been one of my greatest passions. Iā€™ve visited 16 countries and love meeting people from different backgrounds. šŸŽ“ I have taught adults from all over the world and at all levels. I started my teaching career at a local language school in Brazil, and for the past 5 years, Iā€™ve been teaching Portuguese exclusively online. āš”ļø My lessons are personalized to your goals, learning style, and pace. Whether youā€™re starting from zero, planning a trip to Brazil, or learning Portuguese because you have Brazilian family, a partner, or friends, Iā€™ll create a learning plan specifically for you. My classes include: ā€¢ šŸ—£ļø Conversation practice ā€¢ šŸ‘‚ Pronunciation support ā€¢ šŸ“š Grammar explained in a simple and practical way ā€¢ šŸ’¬ Useful vocabulary for everyday situations ā€¢ šŸ‡§šŸ‡· Brazilian culture, expressions, and real-life language šŸ’Æ I especially enjoy working with beginners and helping students who start from zero gradually build their confidence and communicate naturally in Portuguese. šŸš€ Book a trial lesson with me!
