Ala'a Hammad

Wonderful lesson as always!

I'm just a beginner and feel unsure of myself speaking Arabic, but Ala'a is so easy going and encouraging that I find it easy to talk, and talk, and talk. She is very patient and when I ask her to repeat something she does it very slowly and clearly. Another thing I really like about her lessons is that she only speaks English when absolutely necessary, which makes me feel more immersed in the language. I highly recommend her!

My first meeting with Ala'a was great. I'm learning colloquial Arabic, and she asked me questions in Arabic to get to know me and understand my level. When necessary she effortlessly switched to English, but she spoke in Arabic whenever possible. She was very patient with me, and when I didn't know a word or made a mistake she wrote down the correct form for me to have a reference. We ended by making a plan for the next meeting. I would highly recommend her.
