Kazu

This was trial class and it was perfect! We shared out love for Japanese films and she taught me a lot. Definitely will be booking again.

The teacher seemed to be disappointed to get a student with an advanced Japanese level with no need for English explanations, likely because she would not be able to speak English. There are many "Japanese Tutors" like that on italki, i.e. people seeking to be paid to speak English rather than performing their duties. On top of that, she was 5 min late and did not give any reasons.

It was nice to review grammar I've learned by making a conversation. Kazu was patient with me and help me understand words I didn't know yet. I also got to practice some reading today.

Kazu san is undoubtedly the best language teacher I ever had -- and I have had more than 20 of them in various languages. She is patient and knowledgeable, and she knows how to lead me through the intricacies of the Japanese language by focusing on things I am interested in. She knows when to listen, and when to lead the conversation. I made a big progress in Japanese thanks to her.

This was my trail lesson with Kazu and I enjoyed it very much. We are doing conversation practice so she was very helpful at getting me to use what I've learned to form sentences, and when I didn't know a word she was able to help me.
