I am from the Czech republic, living in Brno. I have a master's degree in Economics and Management and currently work in the financial sector.
My hobbies include sports, walking my dog, reading and learning English.Me as a Teacher
→ I am not a professional teacher, but I'm interested in this area, I truly believe I can help you improve Czech skills. Since I'm an English learner myself, I know how challenging learning a new language can be.
→ I'm a very patient and understanding person. Everyone learns differently and I can adapt to your learning method. We can practice anything you might deem necessary. I will correct your pronunciation and mistakes, I will also explain why they are so.

If you need Czech for school or work, we can focus on specific areas. I can help you with economics or accounting because I studied it and have some working experience in this field.
→ We will practice listening, reading, vocabulary, speaking (+ grammar) = poslech, čtení, slovní zásoba, mluvení (+ gramatika)

Very good style. There was a bit of confusion early on. I was on Skype and she was on italki. Once I realised the confusion we carried on. Overall it was a good conversation. It made me aware of lapses in my Czech conversation style and is bringing to light ways to improve it.
Lucie is very good at helping to bridge the gap between my Czenglish and proper Czech.
