I’m Yulia. I’m a certified native Russian language teacher with 10 years of experience. I’m originally from Moscow.
I'm a very keen person, and fortunately, my work is my greatest passion. I enjoy studying language teaching methodology and developing my own teaching materials, which I successfully use in my work.
I am interested in history and art. I believe that the cultural aspect plays an important role in learning a language: we speak with students about traditions, read biography of famous people, discuss history and pieces of art.Me as a Teacher

Julia is a really excellent teacher. She is a qualified teacher and it shows in every aspect of the lessons, from the carefully prepared material, to exactly the right amount of error correction. What I particularly like is that she is not afraid to speak in the lessons. A lot of teachers have the idea that their role is to force the student to speak, but, in reality, hearing a native speaker speak provides an excellent model and is a useful learning experience in itself. Julia gets the balance just right - as she manages the conversation, carefully grading her language at exactly the right level for optimum learning value for me. The lessons are enjoyable and productive. Hard to imagine a better teacher than Julia - I feel my Russian is improving in all aspects.
