I had a very fun conversation with Akina! Although I did not understand some parts, I picked them up through context and I think it helped my listening skills. The whole lesson felt very casual so if that's what you are looking for, I recommend taking lessons with her!

i really like how she only used japanese - spoke at her normal speed, but definitely slowed down when I asked questions or it was clear i was struggling. せんせいは日本語だけを使っていただけのがとても好きです。通常のスピードで話しましたが、わたしがしつもんしったら先生はおそくに説明しました。

アキナ先生はとても優しい友達です。共通の趣味がたくさんあり、彼女と話すのはとても楽しい。このクラスを通して、日本語を話す自信がつきました。ありがとうございます！

Akina is more than a teacher or a tutor. She is a friend. I always look forward to speaking with her. She is patient and she helps me to speak in a way that is clear and also natural. Her personality is fun and she constantly has interesting things to talk about.
