The teacher has been execeptional. I was very hesitant to revisit learning spanish because I really needed a professor that would understand where I am and the unique position I am in as a native english speaker and then being billingual in Italian while having Latin American roots and a history of taking spanish coursework in school. I have been so pleasantly amazed at the level of my teacher’s willingness to work with me, create the most amazing individualized lessons that acknowlege my goal in becoming trilingual. Jeff’s exceptional teaching, his lessons, and his approach need to be a model for all italki teachers. I really cannot express enough how grateful every week I am to work with Professor Jeff and I seriously look forward to our lessons every week!!

The lessons are super motivating and engaging! The combination of learning new stuff and discovering what I already can by beeing encouraged to tack feels just right. I was actually surprized about beeing able to have a simple conversation with Jeff today - seemed impossible at first : ) And it feels like I'm really getting prepared to my spanisch medical rotation - consistently and step by step.
