My name is Karhlyle Fletcher and I am a teacher with years of experience in the fields of journalism, education, and literature. Having worked in person and online, I'm confident I can meet your needs. In my classes I work with individual students to create unique lesson plans, which range from more conversational and casual practice to GRE and TOEFL vocabulary prep. I'm also happy to explore grammar together, as English has some quirks that students regularly find a bit challenging. In my personal life I'm a lover of cycling, adventure, history, public transport, and urbanism, and am always happy to discuss these topics. The average lesson is about a 50/50 split, or 30/70, where we usually start with conversation on target topics. Perhaps about your job, how to talk to fellow travelers, or delivering a dissertation. After that, often lessons transition to developing more hard skills, such as practicing grammar or vocabulary. Current students include those in the corporate world, such as people working in HR and logistic sectors, so I am well suited to help with such roles. Building confidence in the workplace is a great asset, and practice using natural phrases and vocabulary can transform your tone. I've also helped many professors with their confidence in English, helping them prepare for public speaking, and responding to questions about their presentation. 知識が豊富で優秀な人です。どんなトピックにも柔軟に対応してくれます。ただ、レッスン開始時に15分程度の遅刻が2度ほどあり、もう少し時間に厳しくなってほしいです。 He is very intelligent and flexible with any kinds of topics. The one thing I am unhappy about is he was late for class twice. I want him to be more punctual.
