Native English TEFL Certified Teacher with over 5 years experience! Hello, I'm Brad Smith. I'm from South Carolina, USA. I have been an English teacher for almost 6 years now, teaching students of all ages from all over the world. I most recently worked in a preschool and an English center in Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Now, I live in the USA again but am travelling around Mexico as well. I worked building houses, at an airport, and now I've been teaching English for the past 6 years. I love learning about different cultures and languages and visiting new countries to understand these cultures as well. I love having conversations with my students on different topics to learn about them and their interests and culture. I also feel discussion led lessons really help students overcome their barriers in learning English and help them feel comfortable in using this new language in real life settings. My goal is to help you feel English become a natural part of communication. I specialize in working with elementary to intermediate students, as that is where I have the most experience and am able to explain grammar in very simple and understandable ways. I have two styles I usually go with. I prefer conversation led lessons, which I facilitate the dialogue with vocabulary and grammar previously studied, as conversation is the best way to make English speaking natural.
