Hey there! I'm a wanderlust-infected soul, a poet, and an editor hailing from the vibrant streets of Mexico City. In a past life, I dabbled in clinical psychology for nearly a decade before the allure of exploring different corners of the world and diverse ways of living became irresistible. Now, my days are filled with remote teaching gigs where I get to share the beauty of the Spanish language, editing projects that fuel my creative spirit, and immersing myself in the world of literature, my one true love. Oh, and did I mention I curate a delightful poetry collection for a publishing house back in Mexico? Yes, that too!Me as a Teacher
Teaching Spanish? It all started casually, just helping out some friends from foreign lands back in Mexico City. Helping them unravel the mysteries of my beloved language brought me immense joy. What started as a hobby became my ticket to traveling the world while doing what I love. I decided to formalize my expertise with an ELE teaching certification, and voilà, here I am, almost four years later, beaming with happiness. Along this journey, I've met incredible souls from every corner of the globe. Teaching has become my way of engaging in rich cultural exchanges, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the fascinating people I've met and the fulfilling life I've crafted, one lesson at a time.My lessons & teaching style
Imagine learning Spanish like a leisurely walk in a sunlit park – that's my goal for you. I believe in demolishing the myth of dry, abstract language rules. Instead, we'll delve into the heart of the language, exploring it in its natural habitat: real-life contexts. In our lessons, conversations will flow like a friendly chat, enriched with intriguing tidbits about the history and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. We'll groove to folk songs, dissecting their meanings and rhythms, and I'll sprinkle in concise grammar tips to enhance your accent. By using comparative grammar and etymology, I'll guide you effortlessly to deduce word meanings, making you think the way a native speaker does.My teaching material

Based on a year of weekly classes with Abraham, I have confidence that his abilities as a teacher of Spanish supercede those of many others. He has an expansive knowledge of the lingustical aspects of Spanish which I find fascintating. Abraham's lessons utilize materials that capture the essense of a concept in imaginative and engaging ways. I admire the way in which he explains a concept (often on the spot) with examples that are topical, colorful and enriching. !An hour of marvelous connection con una persona muy muy genial!
