Hello, language learners! My name is Lucija and I am from Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia.
I am both a passionate language teacher and an enthusiastic language learner. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English and Italian language and literature, after which I did my master’s in linguistics, specialising in multilingualism and foreign language acquisition. Originally from a beautiful but small country, I have broadened my understanding of intercultural communication by living and studying in multiple countries across the globe.
I love traveling and exploring new cultures, archery, and writing. I am a friendly and open-minded person who enjoys connecting with people from all over the world!Me as a Teacher
I am a friendly, communicative, and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about languages and dedicated to my students.
Based on my personal, academic, and professional experience, I understand both the joys and challenges of learning a new language. I thus strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment, that is both pleasant and effective.
I am very patient and adaptable, and I always try to adjust my teaching approach to learners’ diverse needs, abilities, and preferences.
Finally, my goal is to make foreign language learning an enjoyable and fulfilling experience while empowering students to achieve their language goals.My lessons & teaching style

All lessons are personalised according to your level, needs, and goals. You can choose between two types of lessons. Conversation classes are designed to enhance your existing spoken language skills and help you build confidence by immersing yourself in the foreign language. General lessons are aimed at working systematically on all aspects of the new language, focusing on grammar, vocabulary, communication, listening, reading, and pronunciation.
Based on your preferences, lessons can range from very relaxed to more formal.My teaching material
