Certified English teacher with 6 years experience and a Spanish/English Translator Hi, my name is Elaina! When I am not teaching, I enjoy being outside with my dog as much as possible. We go on hikes, bike rides, and play on the beach. I also enjoy reading outside, finding new recipes, and exploring new restaurants. In addition to being an English teacher, I am also a Freelance Spanish/English translator and Subtitler. I am a former elementary school teacher from the US, and have been living in Mexico and teaching English for the last 3 years. For the past 6 years, I have been learning and practicing Spanish, so I completely understand your struggles of learning a second language! Learning Spanish has helped me understand English in a new way and has helped me become a better English teacher. I can help you tackle the toughest grammar tricks of English, and also explain it in Spanish (if you are a Spanish speaker). Elaina is such a nice person to talk to. She listens to your needs and tailors the lesson accordingly. She also has a lot of materials to offer and explains things in a clear, knowledgeable way. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. Sometimes we have a friendly conversation, sometimes we’re practicing for the TOEFL exam. I love how she can be both chill and professional at the same time.
