Hello! 😊 My name is Sungmi Kim, and I am a certified Korean language teacher from South Korea. I have over 10 years of experience teaching Korean to international students and multicultural learners at universities, schools, and language centers in Korea. I currently teach Korean at Dongyang University and multicultural education centers. I majored in Korean Language Education for Foreigners at Hanyang University Graduate School of Education and hold a Level 1 Korean Language Teacher Certificate. My classes are friendly, patient, and customized to each student’s level and goals. Whether you want to improve speaking, pronunciation, grammar, TOPIK, or daily conversation, I will help you step by step in a comfortable learning environment. Bachelor’s - 불어교육상명대학교I studied French Education at Sangmyung University, where I learned not only the French language but also foreign language teaching methods and language acquisition. This naturally led me to specialize in Korean language education for foreign learners and multicultural students.

Master's - 외국인을위한한국어교육전공한양대 교육대학원I completed a master’s degree program in Korean Language Education for Foreigners at Hanyang University Graduate School of Education. Through this program, I studied Korean teaching methods, curriculum design, language acquisition, classroom assessment, and learner-centered teaching strategies.
