Hey guys! My name is Kosuke. I was born in Japan and now I live in New Zealand. My passion is surfing and my hobby is travelling around NZ in my camper van. I am excited to help you learn Japanese and to become part of your language-learning journey. I provide a space for my students to practice real-world Japanese. I know from personal experience that the language used in a textbook is COMPLETELY different to the language used in real life. I’m here to teach you natural-sounding Japanese that is sure to be helpful, whether speaking to friends, travelling Japan, or just watching anime! 僕のモットーは楽しみながら学習することです。僕のクラスではテキストブックで習う日本語よりももっと日常の会話や、日本への旅行の時、友達と話すときに使える自然な日本語を教えます。恥ずかしがらず楽しい会話をしながら日本語を学びましょう！ When learning Japanese, it’s important to put the things you learn to the test in a real-life scenario. That’s why in my classes, I give you the opportunity to talk about a topic of your choice in a natural conversational environment. Feel free to ask any questions you might have and I will correct any unnatural-sounding Japanese as we go. I’ll do my best to gauge an understanding of where your Japanese is at and center each class around areas of difficulty. I had another great lesson with kosuke! Got a chance to chat for a while, learning some new vocabulary organically, and he found ways to naturally work some grammar points we studied both recently and further back into sentences that worked pretty naturally with our conversation.
