Hello. 😁
My name is 아라(Ara). I was born and raised in Korea and now live in France.
I speak standard Korean, not a dialect, and I can also speak Japanese and English. (However, the lessons will only be conducted in English.)
I majored in Business Management at university (bachelor's degree). I also double-majored in Teaching Korean as a Foreign Language. I graduated with an All A+ GPA in my double major and later got the Level 2 Korean Language Teacher Certificate.

Me as a Teacher
I offer well-structured Korean language classes designed to systematically improve language skills for learners of all levels.
I am lively and passionate while also being patient. So, I will work hard and have fun studying Korean with you, carefully addressing any areas where you may need improvement.
I have experience teaching students of various ages and levels. Therefore, whether you need to start with Hangul, are a beginner, or still find it difficult to speak in Korean, it’s perfectly okay.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch :)
My lessons & teaching style
I use materials that I have personally created for the lessons and share them after each class. During the lessons, I focus on vocabulary, grammar, expressions, and speaking practice that match the student's level.
Typically, at the beginning of each lesson, we briefly review what was learned in the previous session. Then, we learn new words and expressions, practice using them, and work on making sentences.
I also strive to use Korean as much as possible during the lessons and correct any pronunciation or expression errors that occur during conversations. After the lesson, I provide feedback.
