My name is Bailey, and I'm a 30-year-old native English speaker from Canada, and I have a deep passion for helping others enrich their lives through language learning. I absolutely love traveling and exploring different cultures. One of my greatest passions is meeting people from all over the world and learning about their unique customs, languages, and ways of life. Traveling has given me a broader perspective on the world and has taught me the importance of open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity. When it comes to my teaching style, I like to keep things relaxed and enjoyable. I know that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit your individual needs. If you’re more of a visual learner, we can use pictures and videos to reinforce vocabulary. If you prefer listening and speaking, we’ll focus on conversation practice and listening exercises. The key is to make learning fun and relevant to your life, so you can see real progress and feel motivated to continue.

Teaching Experience - Italki + Cambly + Engoo - 2024Teaching business English classes on Cambly & Italki for over 4 years has provided me with extensive experience in helping students improve their language skills in a professional context. With over 95+ Engoo lessons and Cambly business classes taught, I've become proficient at customizing lessons to suit each student’s specific needs. Whether they’re preparing for presentations, writing emails, or engaging in meetings, I can select the right materials to focus on relevant vocabulary & skills.
Teaching Experience - Italki - 2024As you can see, I have taught 74 test related classes here on Italki over the last 2 years plus I have been working 1:1 with a student, who selects a special price package, twice a week for 2 years and we focus solely on TOEIC exam practice. In addition to this I spent 2 previous years working on Cambly doing primarily IELTS test prep. I have so much material put together and resources saved for students in this position. I feel very confident and capable in this role!

ESL TeacherTeaching ESL on Cambly involved providing conversational English lessons to students from around the world through video chat. Most sessions were focused on casual conversation, pronunciation, grammar correction, and helping students feel more confident speaking English. But I also have extensive experience in prepping students for IELTS and TOEIC exams.
