Calm Spanish lessons for learners who feel blocked or anxious when speaking.
Anxiety-friendly support for neurodivergent and sensitive learners.
My lessons are calm, structured, and judgment-free. I work especially with learners who have had difficult educational experiences, as well as students who identify as neurodivergent (ADHD, dyslexia, autism spectrum) or experience anxiety when speaking.
You don’t need to perform or be “ready.” Silence is welcome here.
This is a space where learning happens without pressure or fear.

I have over 15 years of teaching experience and a deeply human-centered, personalized approach.
Teaching Spanish for me is not about forcing progress or following rigid methods. It’s about meeting you where you are and adapting each lesson to your pace, your energy that day, and the way your mind processes information.
I don’t rush students or correct in invasive ways. My priority is that you feel safe, respected, and supported.
The trial lesson is not an evaluation—it’s simply a chance to see if this space feels right for you. My lessons & teaching style
My classes are based on neuroinclusive principles and are especially helpful for students who freeze when speaking, feel anxious in traditional classes, or need clear structure with flexible expectations.
Each lesson is personalized and adjusted in real time. We move slowly when needed, pause when needed, and focus on sustainable learning—not performance.
Spanish is learned here without fear, rush, or judgment.

Mayra is very patient and encouraging during her lessons.
She is easily one of my favorite Spanish teachers. My Spanish is very broken (level A2), but I have enjoyed all of our lessons so far. She creates a relaxing environment to learn and is prepared with various exercises that build upon one another. I would recommend her if you're looking for a great teacher!

My favorite Spanish teacher so far. I'm a fairly messy A1 level with obscure vocabulary obtained through Easy Spanish youtube videos and only having completed the first 20 lessons of Assimil Spanish, but also being a B1 French speaker. Mayra helped me slow things down, untangle some of my confusion, and helped me drill the basics. I'll be returning to her for sure.
