Hello, my name is Delilah, I love making new friends all over the world, I love adventure, reading, writing, music and dancing. I have an undergraduate degree in Communication and Public Relations. I live in Nairobi, Kenya. I'm a native Swahili speaker born in Mombasa, Kenya. I understand and speak English fluently. I am also an intermediate speaker in both Taita and Kikuyu languages. I am currently learning French, I understand how hard it is to learn a new language, but with dedication and commitment we will get there.Me as a Teacher
I used to teach my friends and younger kids in my neighborhood different subjects. That is when I developed my passion for teaching. I feel content when fulfilling their needs and watch them succeed in various subjects. I understand that every student has their own struggles but my goal is to make sure I break down ideas so that it can be easy for them to comprehend.My lessons & teaching style
I like interactive classes, where the students will feel free to communicate, this will make it easier to find their strengths and weaknesses. In class, I will bring out topics of interest to discuss, have conversations and make my lessons as practical and personalized so that my students will be comfortable to express themselves. My lessons will be taught in English and Swahili so that they can understand and have a good grasp of Swahili. I will keep track of record of how the students are improving.My teaching material
