English for Digital Nomads, IT Freelancers & Travelers |Science-Based I'm Lana. 19+ years teaching English and Russian to adults, not just grammar rules from a textbook. I've lived in a lot of countries by now- different cultures, different airports, different languages- and I know how much that shapes your confidence, your work, even how at home you feel somewhere new. I taught at Chiang Mai University in Thailand too, with students from all kinds of backgrounds. Most of my students are digital nomads, IT freelancers, travelers, people living between countries who want to speak more naturally, whether that's for work, relationships, or everyday life. I'm into neuroscience, how the brain actually learns a language, so my lessons aren't only conversation. There's method behind it too, things that actually help you remember and start speaking. Expect scientifically proven exercises, my questionable hand-drawn sketches, and funny analogies. Whatever gets you actually talking, not just answering correctly. A lot of my students come to me after years of studying English but still freeze up the moment they need to talk. I know that feeling myself, so helping people finally relax into the language is probably my favourite part of the job. I like talking about art, science, space, books, travel, human behaviour, all the odd little things that make people who they are. Bring your coffee, your overthinking, your imperfect grammar, your stories. We'll figure the rest out together.

Занимаюсь у Ланы 3 месяца с начального уровня. В каких-то темах у меня уже были знания, а где-то совсем ничего. Лана быстро эти пробелы определила и мы работаем точно над ними. Мне очень нравится ее подход, я чувствую, что она готовится к каждому занятию, мы разбираем разные топики для охвата вокабуляра и в них вписана грамматика на ту тему, которую мы сейчас проходим, задания тренируют разные навыки: чтение, письмо, восприятие на слух, выражение своих мыслей, все очень органично и не перегруженно. Топики очень интересные и полезные. Лана очень комфортный в общении человек, я не чувствую стеснения в говорении на английском с ошибками рядом с ней. И очень терпеливая, я могу ошибаться тысячю раз в одном и том же месте или не запоминать что-то быстро, но она всегда дает понять, что это ок, мы в процессе, все придет обязательно. Раньше речь носителя для меня была белым шумом, сейчас я понимаю гораздо больше и я чувствую, что все навыки тоже растут. Я очень рекомендую Лану!
