I’m Lana, a linguist, traveler, and teacher with 19+ years of experience helping adults speak English and Russian. Over the years, I’ve lived between countries, cultures, airports, languages, and very different ways of life, so I understand how deeply language can shape confidence, relationships, work, and your sense of belonging in the world. I also taught at Chiang Mai University in Thailand, where I worked with students from diverse backgrounds. I mainly work with digital nomads, IT freelancers, travelers, and internationally minded people who want to communicate more naturally and confidently for work, relationships, travel, creativity, and everyday life. My lessons are relaxed, conversation-focused, and structured. I’m fascinated by neuroscience and how the brain learns languages, so I combine real communication with methods that help people remember, understand, and actually start speaking. A lot of my students come to me after years of studying English, but still feel blocked when they try to talk. Creating a space where people finally relax into the language is probably my favourite part of teaching. I love conversations about art, science, travel, books, human behaviour, and all the strange little things that make us human.
