Ustaad Yasir

Ustaad is an excellent teacher, who uses a step-by-step method to constructing Urdu sentences. Ustaad has a common-sense approach to teaching and one can really sense the progression, lesson on lesson. Ustaad has a gentle and friendly atmosphere to his lessons, which make the lessons a delight to be in. He is also incredibly patient. If you are interested in the etymology of Urdu, Ustaad is the teacher for you. I personally find this branch of linguistics fascinating. Documents from the lesson are sent immediately after the session and Ustaad answers questions and corrects homework on messages swiftly and with encouragement. The hour truly flies by and I would encourage anyone to try out lessons with this teacher. If you are interested in science, literature, geography (to name but three) and want to access these topics via Urdu in a hierarchical and memorable manner, Ustaad Yasir may just be the teacher for you. I am looking forward to seeing how my Urdu progresses.

OMG! I never ever in my language student life find a teacher like this, Teacher Yasir is so helpful, so motivated, and so in love with his language that this turned his class very different, I've learned more with him in one class than I've learned in one month with others and alone! If you want to learn Urdu independent of your level, this is your teacher!

I have taken a few lessons with Yasir so far. In our first few lessons he has been teaching me some basic greetings, words, and verb conjugations. His process is to give you the tools to build your own sentences. He is very patient and always willing to explain the grammar. I look forward to more lessons.
