I appeared very late due to unforeseen circumstances, however I was able to catch the partial part of the lesson; based off first impressions, Terumi was able to facilitate the talk; even with no foresight on my goals, allowing me to speak and guide me through an impromptu conversation. That alone makes him more capable than most tutors or teachers I've worked with in the past. If he is that good under time constraints, I can't imagine how much I've would have learned if I was present for the whole lesson. I would book him again in a heartbeat.

Terumi is great~ my lesson was really helpful and I learned so much. I felt comfortable to speak even if imperfectly. And, Terumi pointed out some really helpful cultural context and when to use the variations of each phrase. Extremely organized and just so welcoming and kind. I look forward to my next lessons! 🙂👍

Terumi-San is great conversationalist! It was fun talking to him and I learned new vocabulary while he corrected my mistakes. Five stars!

Thanks for the class today てるみ先生. Your patience and understanding of my constant mistakes throughout the conversation made the lesson both motivating and enjoyable. It was also nice to discover that we have quite a few things in common especially regarding Australia and Latin America. I also noticed from the comments that you hadn’t taught on italki for a few years until recently, so it’s cool to see you making a “comeback”.

I had a very fun time with Terumi. We talked about all sorts of things that were interesting and unique in Japanese. I would absolutely love to take more lessons with Terumi in the future!
