Hello! My name is Tyler and I come from the United States. I am very passionate about the German language and culture, which has led me to majoring in German in college, with the goal of becoming a high school German teacher. Besides German, I like to play cello and garden in my free time. I am currently a freshman in college.

Me as a Teacher

As a community teacher, my goal will be to bring my passion for the German language into lessons. I am always willing to adapt to any student's needs. My hope is to effectively teach practical German, not just out for a textbook.

My lessons & teaching style

In the beginning there will be some Power Points and flash cards, but we will move away from that as you advance. I will focus heavily on using language skills through conversation, reading and writing. There will be some homework to practice what you learn in class, but it will be minimal.
