Hello! My name is Tyler and I come from the United States. I am very passionate about the German language and culture, which has led me to majoring in German in college, with the goal of becoming a high school German teacher. Besides German, I like to play cello and garden in my free time. I am currently a freshman in college. As a community teacher, my goal will be to bring my passion for the German language into lessons. I am always willing to adapt to any student's needs. My hope is to effectively teach practical German, not just textbook language. In the beginning there will be some Power Points and flash cards, but we will move away from that as you advance. I will focus heavily on using language skills through conversation, reading and writing. If wanted, I would be happy to assign homework.
