Hi everyone! My name is Sebastien. I've been a graduated teacher, from FLE (French as a Foreign Language), for 10 years.
I am originally from France, but in 2014 I decided to move to Colombia where I currently live and work.
I have a good level of English and speak Spanish fluently. I consider myself a calm, patient, attentive and flexible person.
Regarding my diplomas, I hold the DAEFLE (Diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language) which I obtained in 2020. Before that, I had begun my academic training in 2018 with the validation of the MOOC Cavilam.

Concerning my professional experience, I have been teaching French for 10 years in Colombia, in Bogota. I worked in different language institutes from 2014 to 2020. Since 2020, I have been working as a private online FLE teacher. I was able to improve and deepen my pedagogical skills and knowledge thanks to the different tasks I've carried out all these years such as:
- Group and private lessons for FLE students ranging from level A1 (basic) to level C1 (advanced).
- Creation and implementation of weekly conversation clubs in French.
- Creation of assessment tests necessary for the validation of a level (A1-A2-B1-B2) in French.
- Preparation for official exams (TCF/DELF)My lessons & teaching style

I will prepare my lessons according to your expectations and your objectives so that your learning process is a real pleasure and not an obligation!
My methodology is based on COMMUNCATION and ACTION, and is oriented towards learning grammar, vocabulary and phonetics through authentic documents. Knowing how to conjugate the past tense is good! But knowing how to use it to tell a friend what you did last weekend is better!My teaching material

DAEFLE - Alliance Française - 2020The DAEFLE (Diplôme d’aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Etrangère) is a diploma offered by the Alliance Française de Paris Ile de France, in collaboration with the CNED. It is aimed at anyone wishing to gain a professional qualification in the domain of teaching French as a foreign language (FLE). The DAEFLE is a distance learning course for initial or further training. The diploma is awarded after 480 hours of training (6 modules) and success in the final exam.
