Hello! My name is Alyona, I'm 20 and I live in Ukraine. I am here to help and encourage you to learn Ukrainian:^)
I'm from the central part of Ukraine, but I study in Lviv, it’s a city in the western part.
I am flexible in my working hours, energetic, and pretty much motivated. I am sociable, so talking with different people is the thing which I like.
I am studying at the university in the faculty of foreign languages to become a translator, so the study of languages is closely related to my professional choice.

Me as a Teacher
Every time I try to find an individual approach for everyone and find a common topic for communication. This is much more interesting for the student, there will be more associations and thus the material presented by me will be studied more easily and productively.My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style depends on a person I am teaching. All the students are different: someome prefers learning while reading, someone learns by seeing. It is important to learn about the student's preferences in terms of study, what they like best and what will make the most sense.
I will try to use various interesting methods of language learning. For example, with the help of games, tests, matches, etc.My teaching material

Another great lesson with Alyona. She has a good understanding of my current level of ability, and more confidence in me than currently I have in myself - the sign of a good teacher. As always I have come away from this lesson feeling that I have made some progress. Very happy.

Great first lesson of 2025 with Alyona, with some much needed practice of the verbs of motion. I don’t seem to use them very often so they fall out of my head. This year I’m going to make a stronger effort to memorise them 😁

Great lesson with Alyona again today. In the time since I was last free for a lesson, it felt like all my Ukrainian had fallen out of my head, but I soon got back into it and enjoyed the reading and translation exercises 🙌
