Yukiko

I have been learning from Yukiko-sensei for several months, and it has been a wonderful experience! Each class provides new information, while simultaneously building from what was learned in past lessons, which really helps to strengthen vocabulary. Any time I have a question, Yukiko-sensei doesn’t hesitate to answer, giving clear and thorough explanations, and ensuring I understand whatever it was that I asked about. In addition, Yukiko-sensei is very friendly and relatable, so each lesson is a lot of fun, and she does an amazing job of adapting to each individual’s learning style; for example, I tend to go off topic and I can sometimes take a long time answering simple questions, because I try to make sentences more detailed to gain experience using different words. This risks wasting time, but Yukiko-sensei does a great job of keeping me on topic without making me feel rushed! Her lessons are fun and engaging, and the homework she provides helps immensely. Highly recommend!
