I'm Betül. I'm Turkish and I live in Turkey. I previously lived in Turkmenistan and Bosnia and Herzegovina. I am familiar with and interested in Central Asian and Balkan cultures. I am interested in the visual arts. As a Turkish teacher: I am in this field because I enjoy teaching my language and culture to people who are interested in it. How do our Turkish lessons go? First, we start the Turkish learning journey by getting to know my student's motivation and needs. I share our resources, such as textbooks and workbooks, with you digitally. I use a teaching method that allows you to start speaking and practicing as quickly as possible, according to your interests and language needs. As someone who loves and has been interested in my language and culture since my childhood, after completing the Turkish Language and Literature undergraduate program, I wanted to continue my studies in this field as a Turkish teacher to foreigners and completed the certificate program of Teaching Turkish to Foreigners. Betül is a kind soul who is non-judgemental, this creates exactly the right sort of environment for a student to practice and feel comfortable trying and making mistakes - a crucial component in building language skills. I have also found her to be highly professional, she pays attention to detail and is adaptive to the needs of the student. She is proactive in creating new materials and my impression is that she is passionate about teaching! Highly recommended!
