Riska

It was really enjoyable reading a popular Indonesian book with Riska today. It was like being at a book club with a true friend. I am very grateful that with Riska's help I have been able to reach a level of Indonesian where I can both read at novel level and discuss.

I had a great first lesson with Riska! She is very kind, has a fun and laidback approach and was very patient with me and my foreign accent. I even got to meet her cat at the end of the lesson! Thanks Riska, see you again soon :)

Great lesson with Riska! We finished the remaining part of lesson 7 and also completed all of lesson 8. I was a bit confused by the book's explanation of the "di" prefix, but Riska helped me understand it. The comparison and antonyms were pretty easy to understand. I have my trouble spots, but Riska has a good way of explaining things easily..which really helps!

Riska is an excellent Sundanese teacher. I highly recommend her for instruction in Indonesian or Sundanese. She is patient, kind, and flexible, and encouraging; even though I’m a total beginner in Sundanese, I feel motivated and confident thanks to her. I learn so much from our lessons, and I love that she goes way above and beyond to create interesting materials for us to review together. Hatur nuhun! 💕

Great lesson with Riska! We looked at the "meng" prefix and how it changes depending on several different factors. Riska went through and explained all the example sentences. We also did different exercises to attach the "meng" prefix and to figure out the root word based on the word that includes the "meng" prefix. Riska also helped me out with pronunciation - especially when I read a story from lesson 7. Riska is very helpful and always organized!
