I grew up in northern Nevada, USA. I lived abroad in China for 3 years and have been living in France for the last 3.5 years. I have also spent about a year in Brazil with my parents-in-law and family. My experience around non-native English speakers from all over the world has made for a more neutral accent than the typical accent from the US West Coast. I have been teaching English since 2005 both in the classroom, through one-on-one tutoring and online.Me as a Teacher
I have a neutral accent from years of living abroad and interacting with speakers of different variants of English. I lived in China for three years and in France for a year and a half. I'm a political scientist by training, with a focus on international relations (Master in Global Studies), and I also have a Master of Arts in English (MA) with an emphasis on social linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL).My lessons & teaching style

English InstructorI was an English Instructor for four large classrooms of Chinese teenagers (50+) aged 14-19 twice per week. I also taught a small 10-person English language class nine times per week for students who would shortly be traveling abroad.
