I grew up in northern Nevada, USA. I lived abroad in China for 3 years and have been living in France for the last 3.5 years. I have also spent about a year in Brazil with my parents-in-law and family. My experience around non-native English speakers from all over the world has made for a more neutral accent than the typical accent from the US West Coast. I have been teaching English since 2005 both in the classroom, through one-on-one tutoring and online. I have a neutral accent from years of living abroad and interacting with speakers of different variants of English. I lived in China for three years and in France for a year and a half. I'm a political scientist by training, with a focus on international relations (Master in Global Studies), and I also have a Master of Arts in English (MA) with an emphasis on social linguistics and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). Please note that while you can schedule a class 12 hours beforehand, I do ask that you please try to schedule a class at least 24 hours in advance. If you are going to schedule just 12 hours before the class, please message me first.
