Qualified Swedish teacher with over 25 years of experience Hej! I am a native Swedish speaker with a lifelong passion for languages and communication. With nearly 30 years of experience teaching Swedish and Swedish literature—including 18 years within the International Baccalaureate (IBO) framework—I offer a wealth of expertise to my students. I have taught at every level, from primary school to high school, and have extensive experience teaching Swedish as a Second Language to adult immigrants. Having worked in international schools and traveled extensively across Europe, I am fluent in English and thrive in multicultural environments. Outside the classroom, I am a certified fitness instructor. I’ve worked with Friskis & Svettis, Sweden’s most well-known fitness organization, for over 25 years. I believe that every student is unique. My approach is entirely student-centered. We begin with a meeting to discuss your specific goals and expectations. Together we then create an individual learning path tailored to your pace and needs. My role is to be your guide and support, ensuring every lesson is valuable, practical, and engaging. Please note: At this time, I am exclusively accepting adult students. I look forward to helping you master the Swedish language!

Lisa is a great teacher. During my first lesson with her, she took the time to really understand my goals and put together a plan to help me reach them. She is very skilled at asking questions that challenge me and help me improve, and conversations with her are always enjoyable. I am looking forward to many more lessons with her.

Lisa is a wonderful teacher. I had lessons with someone else before I found her and now realise how little progress i made. Lisa is an engaging teacher who pushes me without me even realising it at times :)

Always enjoyable lessons. Good conversations, that are just that little bit difficult, which gets you out of your comfort zone and learning.

Another great lesson with Lisa. Lisa and I chatted about a podcast I tried to listen to. Lisa showed me some places in Sweden mentioned in the podcast. It was a lot of fun. Thank you Lisa
