I'm Krista. I'm from America, but I live and teach in Asia. Right now I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I love travelling all over Asia. When I'm not travelling, I play board games with my friends or enjoy a quiet evening at home watching K-dramas. I also love cute animal videos and photos on Instagram. It's fun learning about the many unique and beautiful species of birds around the world!Me as a Teacher
I am CELTA-certified. I'm an English trainer for companies in Bangkok, Thailand. I teach English conversation for all levels, starting from basic, to pre-intermediate, to advanced. I also teach business English, academic English, and IELTS preparation. My lessons & teaching style
I am the go-to teacher for high-level one-on-one courses, where I get the student to lead the conversation. When I incorporate learners' personal interests and real-life experiences, it inspires them to have a lot to talk about. I create a comfortable environment for conversations, and my students tell me my lessons are fun and effective speaking practice.
From A1 to C2, I encourage students to see the grammar concepts I teach as the building blocks they can use to start communicating in English at any level.
