Joob

Excellent class with an excellent teacher. Materials are well prepared and engaging. Kru Joob is really easy to speak to and to get along with. I have been studying with her for along time and I have vastly improved. She teaches how to make complex sentences and long passages of speaking. My confidence in speaking has really grown and I feel that I can now hold a good conversation. When I first started, It was hard for me to make coherent simple sentences. I would highly recommend her to any student or friends of mine.

So far I have had ten perfect lessons with khru Joob. She truly is an amazing teacher; she is brilliant at explaining grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. In the short time that I have been working with her, I have learned a lot; I can now introduce myself in Thai, order food and beverages in a restaurant, buy things in a shop etc. Joob makes every lesson interesting and fun; she has a great sense of humour and is also very patient with her students. I feel very well prepared for my stay in Thailand which is coming up; and I will definitely continue learning with Joob when I get back. Khob khun maak na kha, khun Joob!

Khun Joob is a great teacher! I attended her class with zero knowledge of Thai and have learnt a lot in 5 lessons. She uses materials for her classes and there's always a structure instead of jumping around. She also asks if we want to recap the previous lesson at the start of the class, which is helpful for me. The homework (just a little) helps to keep the new words fresh between classes. First time using italki and I'm glad to have found Joob!

I have been learning Thai with Kru Joob for over a year, and the progress I have made has been remarkable. When I first started, I could only manage basic greetings and simple questions. Now, I can confidently engage in conversations with native Thai speakers. Living in Thailand, learning the language has been a top priority for me, and Kru Joob has played a crucial role in this journey. While I am not yet fluent, I now have the confidence to navigate daily life independently and use my Thai language skills in real-world situations. Kru Joob’s teaching approach is structured and highly effective. She began by introducing fundamental vocabulary and pronunciation using a variety of learning materials. Over time, our lessons have evolved into full conversations conducted in Thai, allowing me to practice and refine my speaking skills in a natural way. Her patience, kindness, and dedication to her students' success make her an outstanding teacher.

Great lesson with Joob! We started by reviewing the sentences that I wrote. After that, we did a quiz on "common expressions and phrases". Joob had also prepared a game, but the website was unavailable. Joob quickly adjusted and presented a lesson on "at the airport". Joob makes sure that I am reading correctly and using the correct pronunciation. Joob is a wonderful teacher and I continue improving in her lessons!

Greatn lesson with Joob! We reviewed the vocabulary for "expressing emotions" and Joob gave me a quiz. After that, we started on the lesson for "common expressions" and learned more about polite interactions. Joob complimented my consistency and progress, which was very nice. I know that Joob is very supportive and is always helpful to me!
