My name is Philipp and I am from Germany. Although I have a master's degree in business administration and engineering, languages have interested and accompanied me throughout my whole life. That's why I started teaching German many years ago, alongside my university studies and work. About five years ago, I decided to work full-time as a language teacher. In order to achive this, I successfully completed a one-year course at the Goethe-Institute for career changers. In my free time, besides studying languages myself, I also enjoy hiking, attending cultural events and discovering new places while travelling and on day trips. I really enjoy my job and love seeing my students improve their skills step by step and experience moments of success both in and outside of class. My students can be sure that I always show up to class with a smile on my face, that the lessons are carefully prepared and tailored to the needs of each individual student, and that I answer all questions during class with clear explanations and lots of patience. In my teaching approach, I place great emphasis on developing communication skills, which is why I give my students as much opportunity to speak as possible in my lessons, even if they are complete beginners.
