My name is Esther from Kenya. I enjoy reading books, swimming, travelling, working out, meeting new people from different cultures, outdoor activities like boat riding, adventure like zip lining and many more. Teaching Swahili is my passion, and I appreciate the time with my learners. I hope we can meet soon and learn.

Me as a Teacher

Learning a new language is good as it helps one to express themselves with confidence, hence making interactions easy. I am patient and understanding which are key virtues when teaching a new language. In addition to general workbook, textbook information, I like to use common tasks, activities, hobbies or any real life situations to help my students practice.

My lessons are tailor made to suit the needs, desires, expectations and goals of every learner. My lessons are also very beginner friendly and can also be described as transparent and interactive as students are given a chance to explain themselves and ask questions.
