Junior was exactly the kind of teacher I was looking for. Despite my basic Portuguese, we managed to communicate only in Portuguese even as he taught me new words and corrected my Portuguese. He helped create a relaxed environment for learning while talking, which is something I prefer over a 'classroom style' of learning.
I am writing this after our first session, and if anything changes, I will follow up later with another review.

Had my first class w/ Junior and it went great. He's very attentive, communicative, helpful and keeps the class energic and interesting. Highly recommend if you are looking to improve your conversation skills and understand Brazilian culture.

Junior is a phenomenal conversationalist! The pace is perfect and topics are very organic. Nothing is strained & there is no dead air time searching for idle conversation filler, it just flows! I really appreciate Junior's time (he's never rushed) and his style! A definite recommend for other students!! 😁😁👍👍
