Hey. My name is Daniel, and I’m a Danish teacher here in Italki.
I’m 23 years old and from a beautiful city in the center of Jutland called Viborg.
For the moment, I live in Colombia where I teach English and learn Spanish. What drives me is to help people achieve their goals in life, and I can contribute with all my knowledge about languages.
I’m passionate about learning foreign languages and cultures, immersing myself in new lifestyles, and enlightening myself by learning new stuff.
I have studied international studies and English at the university and been a chairman for a political organization.

I’m a very patient, listening, and talkative person that aims to make you feel safe and comfortable. I know it takes time and effort to learn a new language, and I think the best approach is to have a smiling and open attitude. I have a clear accent and will use my words carefully.
As a traveler, I have a lot of interactive experience with foreign cultures and languages. I appreciate meeting other people from around the world, and I can assure you that with my teaching experience in both Danish and English, I can make your language goals come true. With me, you will increase your Danish a lot. Also, if you are a high school student in Denmark, I can help you with Danish or other subjects.My lessons & teaching style
I know the Danish and English language in and out, so whatever your goals might be, I can always help you. The content will very much depend on your language goals and your current level.
- If you are beginning we will look into some grammar, expressions, pronunciation, etc by doing some fun exercises.
- On the other hand, if you are intermediate or advanced, I will prepare some content of your interest that we can go through: History, politics, Danish literature, etc.
My teaching approach is to let you learn from content that you will find interesting. Homework can also be arranged.

This was my first class with Daniel and I found it very interesting. Daniel kept encouraging me to speak Danish. As a beginner, I have never really used this language to have a conversation. Although it was my first lesson, I think I can learn this language well!
