*Vacation August 29 to September 10 and October 10-26* My name is Kasandra and I live in Kentucky in the United States. I am an avid language learner myself - using italki to improve my French and Spanish. As a result, I understand the difficulties of learning a new language and know the importance of practicing with a native speaker. Conversational practice is important in developing language skills to develop new vocabulary and to gain confidence. We can have free flowing conversations to develop your extemporaneous speaking skills or we can use guided discussions. I am very patient and provide a safe place to make mistakes and practice. The only way to get better is to try! Conversational practice is important in developing language skills. We can have free flowing conversations to develop your extemporaneous speaking skills. Alternatively, we can use guided discussions with either videos/article presented in class or provided before class to allow for preparation. With all of the options, the goal is to speak about new topics to help expand vocabulary. I am very patient and provide a safe place to make mistakes and practice. The only way to get better is to try! The conversation sessions focus on developing new vocabulary and gaining confidence. I will provide corrections in the chat to not disrupt the flow of conversation and to provide a record for you so you can practice after our lesson.
