I have a background in teaching English. However, for many years, I worked in the fashion industry, initially as an editor of a fashion magazine and later in marketing and communications of various brands. I currently live in Milan and am enjoying studying Italian. This experience has reminded me of how important it is to practice a foreign language with native speakers. It has also inspired me to offer myself as a conversational partner for those looking to improve their Russian. I have a wide range of interests, love traveling, and am genuinely interested in other people and cultures. I believe we will find common ground and have meaningful conversations.Me as a Teacher
My classes are designed for those who already have a basic vocabulary and are able to express their thoughts in Russian. What we are going to do next is expand your vocabulary and develop your speaking skills to the point where they become automatic. The most effective way to reach this level is to practice speaking as much as possible, without shyness or stress. Just relax and don't be afraid of making mistakes, while I will do my best to create a supportive atmosphere and help you learn from your mistakes.My lessons & teaching style

I have been enjoying my speaking lessons with Elena. She has taught me several phrases to use in everyday speech, and takes my hobbies and interests into consideration as discussion topics for our lessons. Elena is also very considerate of making sure that I can understand everything that she says since the entire lesson is held in Russian. Speaking Russian is my weakest skill, but I have noticed some improvement in my speaking and pronunciation after a few lessons. I highly recommend other students to come to Elena for speaking lessons!

Elena does a great job at generating conversation and correcting my mistakes. I can highly recommend her as a teacher, especially for those with a reasonable knowledge of Russian grammar who wish to improve their speaking skills.
