I have a background in teaching English. However, for many years, I worked in the fashion industry. I currently live in Milan and am enjoying studying Italian. This experience has reminded me of how important it is to practice a foreign language with native speakers. It has also inspired me to offer myself as a conversational partner for those looking to improve their Russian. If you are beyond the beginner stage, I will only speak Russian during our classes, encouraging you to do the same. Elena is such a calm and caring teacher! She met me at my current level and encouraged me to speak as much as possible. She broke-down tough grammar concepts and made sure I understood before we moved on. I felt comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
