Probably stemming from her professional background, Elena's knowledge of the Russian language is palpably deeper then what we've encountered and have been rather underwhelmed with on this platform so far. (saying this as a Russian-speaker myself) Thank you!

Fantastic lesson, as always :) I've studied many languages and hundreds of hours on Italki over the last ten years, and have rarely have met such an accomplished, kind and dependable teacher as Elena! Highly recommend to any learners looking to speak more Russian.

All my conversation classes with Elena have been extremely useful for improving my speaking skills. Not only does she patiently correct grammatical mistakes, but also suggests better ways of expressing my ideas in Russian. I also appreciate the fact that she actively participates in our conversations at a natural speaking speed, adding her own comments and creating a dynamic atmosphere. In short, Elena is an excellent language teacher.

I have been taking lessons with Elena for a little over a year and am very happy with the progress I’ve made in that time. She plans each lesson thoughtfully, making time for both conversation practice, which helps me practice my speaking and refine my vocabulary, and grammar study, which is the area I’m currently focused on improving in. I appreciate that she also types out corrections for me to reference after our lessons and consistently puts effort into preparing personalized lesson plans. She is a very caring and compassionate teacher and I highly recommend her!

Elena is such a wonderful teacher. She’s so patient, kind, and explains everything so clearly. I really value our time together and I have so much fun at our lessons! I could not recommend her enough. I’m so happy to be back, attending her lessons, after a little hiatus!

keeping up fighting the heritage language attrition 🤘and we sure can't fight this fight without Elena's help and support 😁
