Hello everyone! My name is Viktoriia. And I am from Ukraine. I am passionate about learning languages. I am currently playing with French and Italian. And I want to learn Japanese, Greek and Spanish. Not bad, you could say. I know, what can I say? That is just what gives me joy in life.
Besides languages I love being creative, both in a visual and musical way and immersing myself into the wild :) I am also into religion, spirituality and phycology. For me these are all ways that point at the Same Thing. Oh! I forgot to tell you how much I love philosophy, so if you are, as me, in a fascinating search for la Vérité - welcome to my club.
You can get to know me better on our Ukrainian lessons!

Me as a Teacher
I am on iTalki, because I aim to change to way people think about the learning language process.I have about 11 months of teaching experience. I have a huge passion for learning languages. I have learned languages in a autodidact way e.g. without any teachers support, classes, etc. Through my learning experience I have discovered a unique way of learning a language, which includes fun, involvement and is faster. And! It does not include boring grammar rules theory or the never-ending exercises.
My lessons & teaching style
My teaching style so far is based upon my learning style. :) I have learned few languages on my own and during my learning experience I have discovered a few rules that work well for me.
Rule number one: forget about grammar
Rule number two: focus on the interesting topics
Rule number three: don‘t try to be perfect
Rule number four: Just enjoy the process
Rule number five: make it fun and regular
So this as well pretty much describes my teaching style so far. Of course I also see myself as a student of life, so I am looking forward to upgrade and to develop my language teaching skills and have a lot of fun time with you. :P

Her love for languages, culture, creativity, and spirituality intersects closely with my own, so I definitely look forward to having some fun learning Ukrainian with her.

We are working together on finding the best lesson style that is most effective, and that in itself is exciting. She is very patient helping me to express myself when the words are on the tip of my tongue. She is a very kind and friendly teacher whose love of teaching her language is always evident.

I had a wonderful lesson with Viktoriia. We talked about an interesting subject. Viktoriia explained when I didn't understand something. She was very patient, easy to talk to and I learned a lot of new words.

Було дуже приємно спілкуватися з тобою, і здається, що ти говориш зі мною більш-менш як з носієм мови, саме так, як мені потрібно, щоб покращити свої навички слухання 🐔!
Я сподіваюся, що ти допоможеш мені вибратися з тупика, в якому я зараз застряг 🐢.

We had a very nice lesson. We spoke about how we could fine tune our lessons to help me relax when I’m speaking. She provided some tips that I use listening to podcasts more often, and gave me some questions to prepare for our next lesson so that I will feel prepared. Thank you Viktoriia!
