Mostly, I work with teenagers and adults of different levels (beginners, A1-B2).
I worked at school, at university, at a language school; as a tutor; at the lycée in Europe
I am a patient teacher who encourages to talk and who gives the opportunity to think without any pressure.
For me it is important to see the progress students make and their aspiration for learning. My lessons & teaching style
We are going to practise speaking, I can help with new vocabulary and grammar. Also I believe that to learn a language, words and grammar aren’t enough, cultural peculiarities should be also a goal of studying. I can explain the Russian culture and some specific characteristics of the Russians. After teaching Russian in Europe I understood that beginners sometimes don’t have a clear image of what was going on in the country so I would be happy to present my culture and give detailed information on different subjects.My teaching material

Valeriia is a wonderful teacher. She is very patient with me when I ask her what every word means, or when I don’t understand what she said after the third time she repeats herself. She provides a comfortable environment where I can mess up many times without feeling judged. If you are not very confident in your speaking skills, you can feel safe in working with Valeriia!
