Here to help you understand famous Indian songs and movies ;) My name is Arnav Thakur. Being born and brought up in India, I am well-versed in Hindi. Also, having had Hindi as a subject for 10 years in my academic life has made me understand all the ins and outs of the language and has somewhat motivated me to help others see how beautiful this language is. Then, I did my Bachelor's and my Master's degree in the English language. Currently, I'm pursuing a Ph.D. degree in the same field. I consider myself an introvert who needs just a push to cross the line and be on the other side with the expressive ones. Here to teach and make friends. Been doing this for 5+ years now, and I can say that I'm very familiar with the way of interacting with someone who intends to learn something from you. I'm also a learner, so I know how to step into my students' shoes and not just show them the way but also be there, holding their hands, while they walk with their baby steps. My lessons generally include a basic layout of the language, which incorporates the fundamentals, the starters, and the advanced sections of the language. Contrary to the prevailing methods, in my class, I usually take the role of the listener, giving the spotlight to my students so that they can get comfortable making mistakes and, in turn, learn from them. To make the process easier, I adjust myself to the pace of my students and shape my teaching style so that they feel like they are being properly catered to.
