¡Hola! I’m Mhairi—a Scottish-English teacher who turns "I’m nervous to speak" into "I love chatting in English!" 🎯 With 4,000+ students coached, I specialize in *natural conversations*, *ace-ing job interviews*, and *grammar that finally clicks*—no boring drills!
Living in Mexico City (and learning Spanish!), I totally get the frustration of language barriers. My classes? Chill, encouraging, and stuffed with real-world shortcuts I’ve tested myself. Off-screen, I’m hunting for epic tacos, hiking volcanoes, or laughing at my yoga fails.

I have been teaching English online for 3 years. I gained my certification through TEFL and also teach group classes in Mexico city. Over the years I spoken with over 4000 people from around the world, helping them on their English speaking journey.

My priority is to help students gain confidence in speaking English and being comfortable in conversation with native speakers. As I am currently learning Spanish I understand the issues that can come along with speaking a new language and I aim to put those worries at ease, whilst expanding vocabulary and perfecting grammar. I excel in conversational English, job interview and grammar practise.

I have been taking lessons with Mhari, and so far, it has been a great experience! The lessons are very interesting and productive. We go through an article, which she sends beforehand, and we also have conversation practice. She is attentive to correcting mistakes in pronunciation and grammar. Mhari has been very patient, polite, and supportive!
