Shlama! My name is Danny, and I’m passionate about sharing the beauty of Assyrian-Aramaic (Suret) with the world. I’ve spent the past eight months living in Iraq, deeply connected to my roots while working on cultural and educational projects. My journey has taken me from broadcasting at Babylon FM—where I shared stories about Assyrian heritage—to leading GISHRU, a nonprofit that organizes heritage trips for young Assyrians to rediscover their homeland. I’ve also collaborated with The Return, an initiative advocating for the Assyrian presence and cultural revival in their ancestral lands. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to preserving and teaching our ancient language.Me as a Teacher
