Shlama! I'm Danny, and I'm passionate about sharing the beauty of Assyrian-Aramaic (Suret) with the world. I've spent the past eight months living in Iraq, deeply connected to my roots while working on cultural and educational projects. From broadcasting at Babylon FM—where I shared stories about Assyrian heritage—to leading GISHRU, a nonprofit that organizes heritage trips for young Assyrians to rediscover their homeland, my journey has shaped my commitment to our language. I've also collaborated with The Return, an initiative advocating for Assyrian cultural revival in our ancestral lands. As a teacher, I bring both language knowledge and cultural insight. Whether you're a heritage learner reconnecting with your roots or simply fascinated by Aramaic history, I'll adapt my lessons to fit you. From the Nineveh Plains to Urmia, every dialect and background is welcome. I'm patient, encouraging, and dedicated to helping you gain confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Sureth.
