Hi, I'm Tony, and I live in the northeastern part of Brazil—a place I absolutely love. I've always been passionate about learning new languages and have dedicated myself to continuously improving my skills.
I’m a very persistent person, and I enjoy traveling, exploring new cultures, languages, and places. I’m also a huge fan of pop music, anime, movies, and TV series.

I started my teaching career at the College of Engineering, helping first-year students with English. In 2016, while attending an English course at a language center, my teachers noticed my potential and often asked me to substitute for them, which I’ve been doing for the past five years.
I also provide private lessons to teenagers and beginner English learners, as well as Portuguese lessons for foreigners.

Tony has been a great Portuguese teacher. His lessons are practical, focusing on real-life conversation rather than just grammar rules. His teaching materials are organized and very easy to follow. He is incredibly patient and always stays positive, which makes learning much less intimidating. I also love that he teaches me about Brazilian culture along the way. Highly recommend.

I’ve been working with Tony for about a month now and each class gets better and better every time ! Tony is an awesome teacher that helps with corrections throughout the class; at the same time his corrections are never such that they interrupt the flow of conversation! I think that I still have a lot to work on but I’ve come a good ways over this last month working with Tony! I’m excited to continue learning with Tony and see what next month’s growth will be like!
