Hello, my name is Faith Aoko, I was born and mostly raised in Kisumu, Kenya. I am currently traveling in Southeast Asia.
I'm working toward personally experiencing the truth within through:
• Acknowledging the progress I've made and adjusting from there.
• Having awareness within and building/increasing that awareness for the rest of my life.
• Understanding my body's design, and letting go of the desire to take away the pain ~ the pain/judgements/trauma is the way/path to utter peace.
• Experiencing the sensations in my body more fully, with more awareness, love and care ~ building understanding/letting go/relaxing.
• Having a strong will/determination to keep going, to keep journeying.Me as a Teacher
After graduating high school, I got an opportunity to teach Kiswahili in the same school for 4 months. Later on, I pursued Bachelor of Education (Arts: Kiswahili and Geography) for 2 years at the University, and I've been teaching both Luo and Swahili languages online for about 3 years.
I intend to share my knowledge and cultural experiences, to help you acquire Luo/Swahili languages based on your preferred method/interests of learning. My lessons & teaching style

Our lesson today was a good example of how Faith tailors her lessons to students' interests. She knows that we are interested in different cultures and in the arts. So earlier in the week she sent us pictures of hena hand tattoos. Today we discussed the pictures while being introduced to new vocabulary words like design, style, permanent and temporary. We feel like Faith really cares about us as individuals and is willing to put in the extra effort to help us learn. Try a lesson with her!
