As your teacher, I want to inspire you and build your confidence so that you can be the hero of your own success story. Here's my philosophy: you need to speak as much as possible in order to learn. But don't worry! This shouldn’t be stressful. I'll give you gentle corrections and targeted feedback that will help you improve. I have: -over 5,000 hours of online teaching experience -5 years of in-class teaching experience -Master of Arts in English -CELTA -Graduate Certificate in TESOL …so I have plenty of experience and knowledge I can use to help you. I'll create a supportive environment where you can practice for that big presentation, job interview, or even that date you're nervous about. And if you're into grammar, don't worry, I can handle that too. I studied linguistics and technical writing, and I'm a bit of a grammar nerd. My goal is to help you: -Communicate confidently -Translate less when speaking -Build your vocabulary -Hit your career/academic goals After each speaking lesson, I'll send you feedback that shows you new words we learned, words we worked on pronouncing, and grammatical corrections.

Mel is a very polite teacher, her lessons are always helpful :) The atmosphere of the lessons is pleasant and relaxing, I can speak freely without any restrictions, Mel comments on some mistakes and moments only after my speech is finished.
